There was one at my local auto show a while back that a Ford employee drove down from Detroit but they had stickers that said “Prototype vehicle. Locked for your safety.” Obviously it was safe enough to drive across the country.

Are you sure it was a real Shelby and not some poseur trying to make people think his car is cool? There’s really no reason not to open the hood. That’s what everyone wants to see.

On a side note, that is one boring ass color. What does FoMoCo call that? Shiny Primer?

At the ford development center mustang memories car show. It was sitting in the ford racing tent. 100 percent legit. I agree on the color looked a little better in person but blah!

That looks like the Mustang show that’s in Dearborn every year. And that’s the 700+hp supercharged GT next to it, right?

Personally I kinda like the color. Very bland, yes, but it reminds of the gray color that they use for fighter jets.

I know right surprised to see it too. This was in the development parking area right hand drive and stick.

The right hand drive ranger was cool too.
